Digital Basics for Work and Life

Digital Basics for Work and Life is a beginner friendly program designed to help people build confidence using technology.

This course supports learners who want to develop practical digital skills that can be used in everyday life, and employment.

Participants will be introduced to digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers, and will practise using them to complete real world tasks.

No prior experience is needed. The course is suitable for beginners and those who feel unsure about technology.

Learners are encouraged to bring their own smartphone or tablet so they can practise on a device they already use.

​

During the program learners will develop skills to-

  • use digital devices more confidently

  • navigate websites and search for information online

  • send emails and basic messages

  • complete online forms and applications

  • access online services and job information

  • understand basic online safety and privacy

 

This program is a great starting point for anyone wanting to improve their digital confidence and build skills for work and everyday life.
